Like the scene from the "Beverly Hillbillies" The truck was filled with boxes and had lots of weird things sticking out, filling any gaps we could. We never did get all of our essential stuff into the move, but we'll be going back next week to set up Rachelle's show at Circle Craft so we can finish it off then.
Our new mailing address is (in all seriousness):
Doug and Rachelle Chinnery
Arthur's Farm 4-7
Hornby Island, BC
V0R 1Z0
Today I go back to the Spray Point house to put the battens on the siding. Supposedly the rest of the crew finished the deck without me. Rachelle goes to the Pottery Shop this afternoon for her first shift. After a solid week and a half of packing, culling, and cleaning, I think she's really looking forward to a change of pace.

Yay! You guys made it. Congrats!! See you soon.
Isn't moving just great? Actually, just last night I was thinking "Hmm, maybe I'll wash our new duvet cover and switch it with the old, and change the sheets while I'm at it. So in goes the new one into the machine, and I strip the sheets off the bed. Then I realize I haven't unpacked any other sheets for our bed. So begins the search for sheets. In order to conduct the search, I need to move several very HEAVY boxes around the basement just to clear a path to a box I can see (while on my tippy toes) that has a label that looks like 'sheets'. Once I reach the box and rip it open, I discover that indeed it contains sheets but to my disappointment they are TWIN sized sheets. Of course, in the end, I found a box upstairs in Emma's room (that would be about 10ft from our bdrm door) that contains a queen sheet set. Isn't that great? I still say I had a better night's sleep because of the stupid new duvet cover and sheets. Did I mention how much I hate moving?????
