The decking is this, in theory, cool system where you have no nails in the surface of the deck. All the fasteners are on the sides of the planking using these galvanized clip things. It looks great but it's a real pain in the ass to assemble. I did that for half a day. After lunch I worked with Wayne to erect the huge fir 12x12 supports for the raised area of the deck.
The previous evening I got invited to Wayne's birthday party. He and Elaine live in a small cabin on just about the most amazing piece of land on Hornby. I think that they have 40 acres of ocean front. Elaine had made a huge and extremely wonderous garden. We ate lots, shot arrows into the air, threw axes into a dead tree... Good times!!
Gotta go crash. I'm going to work again tomorrow. It's supposed to pour rain. Blech!

Wow! You'll REALly be in shape by fall if you continue to work and build your house. Go for it. Now you need your long pants. I like Rachelle's comment on 'when did you start to use coathangers'.

Congrats on the job and I am drooling over the cedar boards in the pics (Aaron here)!
