Birthday parties on Hornby Island are always imaginative. This one (Miss Amanda's) included a boat trip to a small nearby island where we barbecued hamburgers and salmon, had a pot-luck row of salads, saw the only molting elephant seal in the region, saw rare flowering cacti, and drank mojitos. Pretty basic stuff all in all.... if you live on HORNBY!!
