In an amazing display of ummm... synchronicity?... name-clash-coincidence?... My buddy and cousin's husband Ted, turned me on to TED. TED-the-conference is a 4 day event held every year where 1000 brilliant people get together and jam about technology, entertainment, design, or whatever.
Ted-the-person sold me with a video of Wade Davis talking about ethno-biology. When I subscribed to the podcast, I found this great video of the spoken word genius, Rives, talking about the internet.
Check out Ted-the-person's awesome techno/mind-babble blog. Lots of great stuff from web design, to the future of gadgets, and some funny flash animation vids.
