Office setup on Hornby

The cabin that we're building on Hornby is small. We've allocated 3x3' space for a computer desk/office. I just came across this rig and I think it'll fit the bill perfectly! Check out their website for more cool photos of the Ergopod500 in action!

LOL - that is some sweet sauce. Attach a catheter & you're good for a couple of day.

Of course, you could also just buy this:

Our good friends Jules and Ian both have Mac laptops and they're pretty cool. I find the screen and the keyboard a bit small. Sure, I could use an external number, but then what's the point of having a laptop?

Does the Apple come with an Xserver that will let me connect to my Linux box via the X Windows System?

Where's the cup holder?

I just checked out the link to the website. I think the next logical progession would be to attach the pc to a steadycam harness/platform and your literally "good to go"...anywhere.

I wonder if you can get an adapter to fit over a queen size bed. Hmmmm.......

Yah, the 12" are small. I have the MacBook Pro, which is 15" and is much more suited to the eyes.

Don't be getting all linuxy snooty on me:

Good on them for integrating that, although it'd be pretty weak sauce if they didn't. It's enough to make a guy consider a Mac for his next computer, assuming he was secure enough in his own sexuality.

Said guy could always supplement any insecurities with a 24 inch widescreen monitor and a terrabyte of storage, tho.

And cram it into 3x3!

Sounds like some wicked potential for a piggyback fight.
