Luckily there is a stylist on Hornby who - get this - comes to your house and does your hair for the extortionate rate of 12$. When all was said and done, we could see Doug's beautiful hazel eyes once more. Unfortunately there's no island esthetician... leg waxing will have to wait. There are many ways I'm learning to adapt to island life.... the latter is not one of them. Call it my 'inner Zsa Zsa'.

Stylist to Go

And the crazy thing is that Doug's eyes were not brown before moving to Hornby.
Ahhh...there's my hottie cousin again!
Hi guys: My brother Bob and his wife Norma Dean were just here for 6 days, to attend my late dad's sister's(Aunt Doris)memorial service, in Marmora, Ontario. That was done last Friday, and that put us in touch with my late dad's first cousin's son, "Mac" Young. He'd be my grandfather's brother's son. Mac is a very successful broker with Royal Bank/Dominion Securities, corner Bay and Wellington in Toronto. We visited him in his office yesterday(the 4 of us) and he dragged himself away from "trading" to take us all out to lunch across the road. There we heard stories of his two daughter's, (one of whom was with us, as she works for her dad),and his son Thirnan, who is currently on an Eastern Asia tour. So I thought I'd give you his blog, as I'm sure you'll find his story interesting, if he can spin a yarn as well as his dad can. He's at http://paulmarkthirnan.blogspot.com. What can I add to Ted's remark except to ask "Are you sure you've got that septic system WELL away from your drinking water supply?" Anne and I are about 90% sure we're going to take the plunge in July or August and show up on your doorstep via Marilyn's, my brother's, my second cousin's in Ladysmith and any other suckers we can persuade to give us free lodging. This time we'll do it on a couple of Harleys to keep the ferry crossing costs down. Until next time.Unca W.
