This weekend my brother Scott, sister-in-law Siobhan, and two nieces Daimhin and Hannah came to Hornby Island to check it all out. They flew in to Comox airport and rented a car to drive to Hornby. We put them up at the neighbor's beautiful house right next door.
We spent the weekend beachcombing, eating great food like local chicken and oysters, drinking amazing scotch and even did a bit of work. With stunning weather all weekend, we hit all the great Hornby spots like Helliwell, Tribune Bay, Grassy Point, Sandpiper, Downes Pt, and Heron Rocks.
It was a fabulous get-together that has been a long time coming. Both Rachelle and I had a great time and can't wait to host the gang again. Beachcombing is more fun when there's two super excited nieces screaming about finding dead crabs, starfish, and perfect thrones in the sandstone. Come back any time!

With that trail of blood from the kitchen to the bedroom - how could she miss! I didn't mention this before, but we just got the invoice from the Hornby Island toothfairy for the extra cleaning charges.
Looks like you had a great time...and no snow?? I hope we can make it out there soon!
