Last year only 3 brave souls endured the chilly waters and frosty air. This year, thanks to Paul, the brave souls numbered 4.The air temperature was around 3 and the water wasn't much warmer. The cold snap that we've been having has cooled the water a few degrees from where it would normally be.
Paul's son Colm and I watched from the woolly and warm sidelines. The pictures speak volumes.

OMG Doug,you're getting crazier the older you get. I hope it was worth it. I'm glad there are still some sane people on Hornby, Rachelle.
