| Some of our favourite things! |
Well, this is supposed to be the year we wind it all up on planet Earth! I guess just to be safe we should all start checking off the wish list postings. This year Doug and I will finish our bathroom, build the shed, and plant lots of gardens! To start with though, we'll be taking lots of walks, mending bones, tendons and muscles. (See last post...) We're staying at home this year - missing our usual NYE date neighbours Paul, Lisa, Colm & Lucca.
The one good thing about our emergency trip to Campbell River yesterday was being able to pick up our new favourite cheese,
Valdeon, a blue beauty from Spain. It's part of our simple but yummy last-meal-of-the-year.
To all our friends and family, here's to the best of all things in the year to come. Health, peace & contentment - in that order. Cheers!

We did a standard old roast chicken, which has become quite the staple around here since we love it so much.
After a walk with Kepler we started watching Twelfth Night but will have to finish it tomorrow since we got a bit drowsy. Should have realized you can't watch it on the Three Hundred and Sixty-Fifth Night. Still, getting ideas for our soon-to-be annual party in the new place...
