Our flickers are around!! I heard one tapping the other day, and Rachelle spotted this one on the telephone pole outside the house. I couldn't resist the opportunity to grab the telephoto lens and see if I could get good shot or two.

Nice bird!
Beautiful bird and nice pictures. I wonder if this means spring or if they are in Vancouver year around - just hiding somewhere?
