This hunter gatherer family is pulling out all the stops this year. Doug went to work this morning ... his regular job... and came home with these in his carpenter's pouch.

After looking them up to confirm that they were not poisonous, that they would not kill us or even make us a little light headed (or hallucinate wildly), we chopped 'em up, put 'em in a quiche and ate 'em.

We love mushrooms.
