The Twins Love Our Apples

There is a pair of deer hanging around our place that seem to have lost their mom. I'm not sure how long they'll be able to fend for themselves before succumbing to the cold, wet weather, starvation, or traffic.

While they're here we've been feeding them apples that have been left on Peter and Judith's tree. I figure that there's just not a lot of food energy in a diet of brown grass and the apples are full of fructose. If they are able to live for a year or so I'll probably be chasing them out of our garden cursing at them for eating our plants. In the meantime, though, they sure are cute.
