Halloween is a big deal on Hornby. A group of us put carving implement to pumpkin a couple of nights ago and the collection is now lined up on our deck.
Ours is one of the few neighbourhoods on the island where there are enough houses clustered together to make Trick or Treating worthwhile!

I wonder what your costumes were this year...you always have the best....
We had almost all the island kids! 20 or so. Hearty little souls only have a handful of houses with candy! And - alas - we opted out of the party this year. Too pooped from our building and house creating!
Ahh, some years are like that. Pumpkins and candy and kids are enough.
