There are few people more game to rough it at the Chinnery ranch than Jeff and Sarah. They camped out on an air mattress in the kitchen, tolerated our cat bringing in live mice to chase - at 3:30 a.m., dined on clams, crab and bbq ribs. We enjoyed all this with a variety of fine wines and cheeses brought by J & S to our humble abode.While I was at the market on Saturday, Doug took them both out mountain biking. Later that day we all went on the tour of Phrog Gin distillery - and procured a number of bottles of the fine elixir. Sunday we all went out for a kayaking tour of Big Tribune Bay and Helliwell Park. Perfect.
It was great to be able to entertain friends and have Doug take a full weekend off from building. Good conversation with good friends, lots of laughs. This is summer.
