Good times are coming back around. Our Grande Flor magnolia bust out into blossom last week! The flowers are about 10" across and smell like a cross between jasmine and sandalwood. Because it is such a young tree, we had no expectations of flowers for at least two years.
Also, the guys at the fire hall banded together and gathered a collection of coin for us to put toward a new car. This is what they call the light at the end of the tunnel!
