My Mom's in Town

My Mom came from Calgary to visit us. Rachelle went to Tofino with a few of her friends so Marilyn and I fended for ourselves. Both Saturday and Sunday were beautiful days so started by going to the beach. Not too many people but there were a few crazy para-sailboarders out so we watched them for a while.



Today we went to Whistler but made many stops along the way. Shannon Falls...



We tried a few V4 boulder problems at the base of the Grand Wall in Squamish...



We stopped at the Tantalus Range lookout...



...Then lounged on the GLC deck in Whistler Village, taking in the scene. Ands what a scene it was! Half naked people, a reggae/dub band blasting sunshine from a sound stage, and hot, hot sun laying down the love. That place is always a trip, and today it was definately happening!
