Our good friend Michelyn just turned 40 and her husband, Tom, organized a surprize party. About 30 people came by, including Jules and Ian all the way from Hornby Island!! We snuck in while they were out to dinner to decorate the house and lay out some food. During that time the front yard got decorated by Gary, the flamingo man.
My job was to greet people, set up the booze, and pick up the balloons. I picked up 15 helium filled baloons at a store near Tom and Michelyn's and rode the kilometer or so back to their place with them tied to the back of my bike. A guy attracts a lot of attention trailing bunch of baloons behind his bike.
It all came off beautifully and she was very surprised. Everyone had a great time! I love suprise parties!! Click here for shots of the party.
