It's evening - 6:45 - to be precise. And it's dark. It has been like this for months. Darkness, the rain pounding on the roof, and the fire place keeping us hopeful. This winter has been especially long, for some reason. Maybe the five-year mark is a hurtle to be climbed over like a neverendinghike. I don't know why this winter was particularly trying, but it was. And now, it is coming to a close.

How can I know this for sure? Well, my little lemon tree, that I have sheltered in my studio, has produced flower buds. That's how I know. And there are sprouts all over the garden with the promise of days - lighter days - to come.

Let me be the first to raise a glass (or a cup) to your return to lightness. It suits you dear Rachelle. Yippee!
