Dry Wall: Day 1

We managed to set up the computer in beside the water heater beside the electrical panel in the pantry. It's tight. The last of our crates is ensconced in the bathroom; we toted out the last bits of house hold stuff and crammed it into the studio. And then we moved our foamy.

Carrying the thing on our heads like Ugandan villagers, the foamy flopping on either side of us like a sac of cotton covered dense jello, we marched it over to Paul & Lisa's. On the way, I twisted my neck trying to balance it up the hill. In quick succession - and not to be out-done by injury - Doug broke through a board on the back deck of P&L's.

Luckily he didn't twist or break his ankle, but he did come home from work with a strained neck that had started last night after having moved our couch down to Rob's. We're a fine pair. And - Sterling's sick. She has a respiratory hack that is borderline very alarming.

So we're off to a jolly fine start. Board arrives tomorrow. Until then, this is R&D signing off from Camp Ongoingprojectfromhell. Wish us well.  I'm taking Doug back to camp to hot-compress his neck, drug him with anti-inflammatory drugs and enforce mandatory movie night.

And P&L - we'll fix the deck....

For some reason I can't imagine a picture on your blog that doesn't have insulation in the background. It will be surreal... good luck!
