Sino-Austrian-Canadian Contingent

It has been such a crazy past 7 days that Doug and I both forgot about our 13th wedding anniversary, which happens to be today!

From the most recent visit working back, Scott, Doug's brother, came to our rescue and helped Doug drywall the studio. They, with some help from Rob, were able to board the entire room with only the window returns remaining. Highlights were steak dinner at R&A's, preceded by a full afternoon at Phrog Distillery.... We enjoyed Scott's visit despite the fact that his three better halves stayed in Calgary.

The day Scott arrived, we said goodbye to our previous 4 guests: our chiropractor, his girlfriend, an ex-student and his buddy. John, Imen, Peter (a member of my very last Cambridge class) and Arne all gathered at our house for, well, nothing but non-stop eating and beach exploring. It was fantastic.

Paul and Lisa from next door were up; Matt and Tanya had rented the house across the street and we all got together for a feast to beat all feasts. Click here to see highlights from this visit.
