Darrel Does Hornby

Our friend Darrel never leaves Whiskey Creek. He is a full-time potter and it's impossible to pry him away from the wheel. Somehow we managed to convince him to come to Hornby.




















We did the usual tour of Helliwell Park (Rachelle featured here sporting an excellent 'Bride of Frankinstein" 'do) and Big Tribune Bay. The bonus waiting for us on Big Trib was a singular apple tree loaded with tiny tasty apples. We stuffed our pockets and our cheeks with the delectible fruits.

We had great meals, good laughs and went to the Firehall for a small banquet hosted by the volunteer department. We played snooker and cards and managed to show Darrel a pretty good time. All of this happened during Doug's time off, so we were able to spend full days in a gang of three and hook Darrel on Hornby!
