Cadet Camp 2011

A second sure sign of spring on Hornby is the annual Cadet Camp hosted by the Hornby Island Fire Department. This year is shaping up to be one of the best organized events to date. Doug has worked tirelessly to get this all organized and several of the other fire fighters showed up to teach kids invaluable skills. Here are two of our favourite HIFR members guiding their charges. Ian (right)recently graduated to full-fledged fire fighter and Pat (left) is a few months into his training.
