From time to time it feels like no project can escape minor disaster. Doug had drawn up plans for the studio on Delta Cad only to have them disappear into the ether. Not all the plans disappeared, just the corrections he spent a whole weekend on. It was a gloomy day for a while. But Doug doesn't do gloom much. Within an hour he was back in the saddle and back on the studio floor.
The two of us (me under nail by nail supervision) put together a second wall. The following day, Jules showed up ready to pitch in. We raised that wall and started on the third. Jules the Task Terrier refused to give in to the rain and continued on the beams until they were finished. She blanketed the saw with a sheet of plastic and went on her merry way.
In three weeks we've got a work party scheduled to come up and THEN we'll see the sawdust fly! It's all quite exciting to see so much progress so quickly. Now if we can just keep the plans from disintegrating into the plasma, we'll be good to go.

That's a pretty serious haircut for a Hornby carpenter and it almost like he's wearing a tie.
