Greg is one of the guys that I work with. He generally does carpentry stuff, but he's also a ticketed plumber. He came by this weekend and donated a couple of hours of his time to the "help get Doug and Rachelle running water" cause.
I did a lot of crawling under the house and drilling holes in the floor joists to run pex pipe while Greg hooked up the jet pump and pressure tank. He told me where pipe needed to be run and I tried to stay ahead of him so he could do crimps and tie-ins. We got almost all of the pressurized pipe run throughout the house and the water tanks are now totally hooked up to the pump.
It took us about 3 hours to do all of that which is something that would have taken me days to fumble through. He's even mentioned that he could come by NEXT weekend and do our sewerage runs.
There was a great Grey Cup party at the firehall this afternoon. With Rachelle at the big craft sale in Victoria, I decided to go partake in the free beer, warm room, awesome food, and big screen TV sports. The Grey cup spilled into the Canucks game and before long it was 10PM and I hadn't even put away the tools after the plumbing adventure. I bummed a ride home and determined that the tools could wait for morning.

I sure hope you get your running water working and your home is air tight before the big storm blows this week. You are getting big snow blows before us. It just isnt fair. We are prepared. Are you?
