The first time we were invited to go to the Finnerty Islands may have been in 2007... but the weather, commitments, courses, mismatched schedules and all manner of road blocks have made going to these mythical islands impossible. Until today. We cruised over the straight on the Bateau Zeilinkski and spend the whole day exploring the meadows. Now we know the islands actually do exist. But they are so beautiful that they will maintain their mythical status in my mind.
